The STF4050C is a common cathode pair of high current, power Schottky rectifiers available in the isolated ITO-220AB package outline. The device has a robust continuous forward current rating of 40A (total package) and a very high single cycle surge rating of 250A. The common cathode configuration of the device provides design advantage when used in applications such as output rectification. The combination of high forward current rating, and very low conduction and switching losses makes this device ideal for high power, high frequency and energy sensitive applications such as switch-mode power supplies and alternative energy inverters.
