The working principle of the 7kW portable DC charging case for electric vehicles

The working principle of the 7kW portable DC charging case is based on DC charging technology. It is powered directly through the vehicle's fast charging port (9-hole DC interface), without relying on the on-board charger (OBC), resulting in higher charging efficiency. The charging case is equipped with a high-power rectifier device, which can directly deliver electrical energy to the battery, avoiding the power limitation of the car charger and thus improving the charging speed.

Circuit structure

The circuit structure of the 7kW portable DC charging case mainly includes single-phase active PFC, DC/DC converter, auxiliary power supply, and input/output detection and protection circuit. The single -phase active PFC circuit works in conjunction with the EMI input circuit to rectify, filter, and correct the power factor of the AC input to meet EMC standards and reduce the total harmonic content of the current. The downstream DC/DC converter uses PWM waves to control the DC voltage output by the upstream PFC. After passing through a high-frequency transformer and subsequent rectification filtering, it outputs a current and voltage suitable for battery charging.
